Matan’s Life Map, along with many other innovative companies submitted for the National Funeral Directors Association innovation award to be presented at the national conference in Las Vegas in September.  We at Matan’s Life map are honored to have been selected as a top 3 finalist for the award.

As I reflect on my experience at the NFDA conference, the honor and gratitude of receiving the finalist award for innovation, and the people I met along the way I can’t help but want to share a few thoughts:

  • Every industry should be open to innovation.  We should constantly ask ourselves: am I/are we doing the best we can? How can we better serve those around us?
  • Our passions should drive our behaviors.  I am so humbled by the feedback I got from various people about an app that came to life from my own challenges of losing my father and wanting to help others avoid (or at least minimize) feeling what my family and I felt.
  • Regardless of our age, health, or other challenges in life, we should keep looking for a way to leave the world a better place for those who come after us.
  • Do good while doing well.  Challenge yourself to do well for yourself and your family, but don’t forget to do some good along the way.

I sincerely hope that you and yours will explore www.matanslifemap.com and embrace the benefits of communication and leaving lasting information for your loved ones.

Congratulations to the rest of the participants in the innovation competition and thank you to @NFDA for the having us and putting on a great event.

From myself and the team at Matan’s Life Map, thank you and we’d love to hear from you.
